SpreadsheetsIt's amazing just how many people require spreadsheet skills and knowledge at work. I have used spreadsheets virtually from the beginning. Personal computers were not invented when I started work at the age of 16. When the PC started to appear in the workplace they were very much seen as wordprocessors. They started to replace the typewriter; however, they always had the capability to load other software such as spreadsheets. As a business manager in the late 80's I could see how this software called spreadsheet could save me time and help with business decisions. I started to use it and very soon became hooked on it. Spreadsheets have come a long way since the early days. I am now running my own business delivering courses in Microsoft Excel.
